What you see on this site, where it comes from, how often it changes and how it’s ordered. Written so you can check every claim.
Today: 1,827 open jobs from 375 companies. Jobs last checked 21 Oct, 7:37 am IST.
The largest employer today is Paytm, with 29% of all jobs. Our numbers describe jobs listed here, not the whole job market.
Where the jobs come from
- Careers page
- Read each morning from the public job boards of companies that hire through systems such as Lever, Greenhouse and Ashby. We keep jobs in India, and remote jobs open to people in India. You apply on the company’s own site. The company hasn’t posted on AspireWala and isn’t affiliated with us.
- Posted on AspireWala
- Added by a company or by our team. You can contact the recruiter here.
How often it changes
- Every morning
- Careers-page jobs are checked around 6 am India time. A job the company has taken down is removed in that check, so closed jobs leave within a day.
- Up to an hour to show
- Pages are rebuilt at most once an hour, so a change can take up to an hour to appear.
- When a company’s board can’t be read
- If a board fails to load one morning, we leave its jobs as they were instead of removing them. So, rarely, a closed job stays up a day longer. Always check the job on the company’s site.
How jobs are ordered
- Newest first
- City pages list jobs from newest to oldest. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
- Your fit
- When you’re signed in, a job page shows which of its skills your profile shows and which are missing. It doesn’t change the order of the list.
How skills are read
- Read from the posting
- Skills are read automatically from each job’s text. Parts about the company, perks and “why join us” are ignored. Skills marked “nice to have” are kept separate and never count against you.
- It makes mistakes
- Automatic reading can miss a skill or read one wrongly. We test it against jobs read by hand, and fix what the tests find.
- Skill statistics
- On the homepage, each employer counts once, however many jobs it posts, so one large employer can’t decide which skills look popular.
Salary
- Only when published
- A salary appears only when the employer published one. We never estimate a figure for you.
The free checks
- Fit Check
- Paste a job description to see which skills you show and which are missing. What you paste is read in your browser and not sent to our servers. If you paste a link instead, our server opens that page once to read the job and doesn’t keep it. Without an account, you get 2 checks a day.
- Is this job real?
- Looks for the warning signs most job scams share. The text is read in your browser and never sent to us. Finding no signs doesn’t prove a job is genuine.
What we never do
- Charge you to apply for a job, or to be considered for one.
- Take money from a company to show its jobs higher.
- Call you, unless you raise a service request and tick that we may call you about it. Employers you apply to may contact you; they aren’t AspireWala.
- Sell your personal data.
- Share your profile with employers. Applying on a careers page shares your details with that employer directly.
- Estimate a salary the employer didn’t publish.
